Don’t miss CanKor editor-in-chief Erich Weingartner and CanKor Human Factor blog editor Jack Kim on Context with Lorna Dueck. The two participated as guests on this Christian television talk show that airs on a number of stations across Canada.
In an email after the show was taped, Producer Sannah Choi wrote the following:
“Thank you so very much for your outstanding contribution to the show last evening. Your expertise and perspective were so valuable and appreciated by many in the audience with whom I spoke last night. It left them thinking and more aware of the situation in North Korea.”
The show is expected to air on Sunday, 5 February on Global TV at 9:30 am EST and on Vision TV at 12:30 pm EST. Additional details on times and stations are posted here.

Hello,
I hope this finds you well. I’m writing to let you know that Context with Lorna Dueck recently taped a show about North Korea and it will air this coming weekend.
Here are the details:
Title: The Cries of North Korea
Date: Sunday, Feb. 5
Airtimes and Stations: 9:30 EST on Global TV, 12:30 EST on Vision TV.
Additional airtimes are here: http://www.contextwithlornadueck.com/airtimes-stations
The show will also be uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, which you can see on our website: http://www.contextwithlorna.com
As you may or may not know, the human rights situation in North Korea is absolutely deplorable. Unfortunately, we had less than 30 minutes to cover this incredibly complex issue. However, we’re hoping the show will open people’s eyes to the realities of the suffering, peak curiosity, and foster more dialogue. If you’re interested in learning more, I strongly recommend the documentary, Seoul Train, and organizations like HanVoice and CanKor.
Please feel free to forward this email to your friends and family. We also appreciate your feedback – both good and bad – so please write to comments@contextwithlorna.com.
Sincerely,
Sannah Choi
